Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

In my recent post “Beef is a Superfood” I covered the numerous health benefits related to bone broth consumption. In passing, I mentioned my favorite way to consume bone broth… hot chocolate! This statement has caused quite the commotion as numerous readers have reached out inquiring on the recipe, so I’d love to share it with you:)

But first, I’d like to say to anyone sceptic to try bone broth hot chocolate, despite sounding like a recipe for disaster, it’s surprisingly SO GOOD! Literally, the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had and I’m a professional baker & complete foodie. So I hope you’ll take my word for it and give this recipe a try.

1 c. Beef Bone Broth

(homemade or Kettle & Fire)

2 c. Whole Milk

1/2 c. Cocoa Powder

3/4 c. Maple Syrup

1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp. Salt

Simply add the ingredients together into a pot and heat on stove-top until it comes to a low boil. The hot chocolate will bubble and create a nice froth. Remove from the heat and enjoy.

This hot chocolate is very rich and thick! You can easily double the amount of bone broth in this recipe if you prefer something lighter. You can also add 1/2 a teaspoon of peppermint extract for a minty twist.

Bone broth offers many benefits; aiding in sleep quality, energy, & digestion. Bone broth also contains collagen promoting hair, skin, nail, and joint health.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the benefits of bone broth hot chocolate.
